The Village
of Whitehall Police Department and CARFAX have joined forces to offer you the safest and most
convenient way to obtain copies of your accident or incident report online.
MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT REPORT REQUESTS
Our Accident Report Database is updated daily to ensure that your accident report is available for download
within five business days of the accident date, provided the accident investigation
is complete.
The database can be easily searched
by report number, accident date or by driver or registered owner name, and downloads are available in PDF or TIFF format.
The standard fee and online
access fee apply for all motor vehicle accident reports.
ALL OTHER REPORTS / DOCUMENTATION REQUESTS
For other
on-line report requests such as State Crime, Domestic Incident and Department Incident Reports, please utilize our Request a Report Service. Please be sure to include as much information as possible regarding your request, it will avoid any unnecessary
delay in processing your request.
All requests must undergo a screening
and approval process prior to online distribution. You will receive a disposition email along with download fee information
and link to your file typically within five (5) business days.

in your email client or check your junk/spam folder, if you have not received a prompt response.
If the incident report is available and obtained,
the standard fee and online access fees apply. There is no charge if the case report is unreleasable at the time of
request due to pending investigation restrictions.
WALK-IN REQUESTS FOR REPORTS
All report
requests can still be made in person at the Whitehall Police Department Office,
Monday-Friday, between the hours of 6AM and 2PM.
