The Whitehall Police Department prides ourselves on our service to the residents, businesses, and visitors
of / to the Village of Whitehall. We understand that at times your contact with one of our personnel may result in a
favorable outcome, or a less thank favorable outcome, depending on the situation. For
those of you who have experienced a positive encounter with a member of the Whitehall Police Department and wish to commend
the member for their work, we ask that you complete our Commend a Member form, which will bring the commendation to the attention of our administration for review and recognition. For those of you who have experienced a negative encounter with a member of the Whitehall Police Department
and wish to file a complaint regarding the actions or inactions of the member(s) involved, we ask that you complete our
File a Complaint form, which will bring the matter to the attention of our administration for review and investigation. Providing you with the ability to provide us with the feedback necessary to
ensure our staff members are carrying out their duties as expected is an integral part of the process in ensuring the circle
of serving and protecting is complete. When filing either a Commend an Member or File a Complaint report please include as much information as possible to ensure the review and investigation of the report can be fully completed.
